Social Tennis is a great way to have a game in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere without any pressure or commitment. Tennis is a great way to stay fit, meet new people or have fun with family and friends. Whether it’s at the beach, down the driveway or at your local club, it’s easy to pick up a racquet and play tennis regardless of your age. And the great thing is you don’t have to be a member to play – there are a variety of ways you can have a hit. Here are some regular social groups that are running at our club at the moment, however if you just want to have a casual hit of tennis with a friend or a family member outside these times then you can book a court anytime by calling Andrew on 0412 225 792.
Q. When can you practice at the courts socially, now that you have joined as a social member?
There are set times each week when the courts are booked or used for tennis activities. Coaching, social groups and competition tennis sessions run in conjunction with the school calendar year, therefore when school is on then both competition tennis and coaching is on, when school holidays are off then competition and coaching is not operating. Social tennis usually continues right throughout the year, however they break for Easter, Christmas and other main holidays. See the timetable roster below for further clarification on when the court roster is on during a normal school term.
